Tools

• list_jobs — list open jobs in the tenant
• search_candidates — search by name, email, or free text
• list_notes — read team-visible notes for a candidate or application
• create_note — add a note on a candidate or application (needs a read & write key)

Install (local package)

The server lives at packages/mcp in the Otter repo. From that folder:

npm install
npm run build
# or: npm start  (tsx watch / node dist)

Environment

• OTTER_API_KEY — workspace key from Settings → API keys (same as REST)
• OTTER_TENANT — optional; workspace keys already know their workspace
• OTTER_API_BASE — optional, default https://app.otter.diy/api/v1

Never commit API keys. Prefer OS keychain / secret env injection.
